Birth Doula Support

Continuous, calm support through your labour and birth.

What’s included

  • We'll have a chat - by phone, video, or over coffee if you prefer meeting in person. This is a chance to see if we're the right fit for each other. No pressure, no sales pitch.

Inviting someone into your birth space is such a personal thing. I want you to feel completely comfortable with me.

  • If we decide to work together, we'll meet three times before your baby arrives:

Session 1 (around 30 weeks): Birth Preparation

We'll talk through what to expect in labour, comfort measures, positioning and how to work with your body through contractions.

Session 2 (around 33 weeks): Your Birth Map®

This is where we create your Birth Map together. I use Catherine Bell's Birth Map process to help you explore your hopes, fears and what matters most to you. This isn't just a birth plan. It's a deeper look at what you need to feel safe and supported.

Session 3 (around 35 weeks): Postpartum Preparation

We'll talk about those first hours and days after birth. What to expect, how to prepare, early feeding and setting yourself up for a supported postpartum.

  • From 38 weeks until your baby is born, I'm on call for you. You can text, call or reach out anytime you need reassurance or have questions.

  • When labour begins, I'll join you when you're ready whether that's at home or in hospital.

I'll stay with you throughout active labour and birth, offering:

    • Physical comfort (positioning, massage, counter-pressure, breathing support)

    • Emotional reassurance and encouragement

    • Help communicating with your care team

    • Support for your partner so they can be present without carrying everything

    • A calm, grounded presence

I don't leave. I'm there until your baby arrives.

  • I'll stay for 1-2 hours after baby is born to help with:

    • Skin-to-skin and bonding

    • The first feed (I'm trained in breastfeeding education for doulas)

    • Getting comfortable and settled

    • Making sure you have everything you need

  • After you've had time to settle in at home, we'll meet once more to debrief your birth and to check in with how you are going. This is a chance to talk through what happened, process your experience and ask any questions that have come up.
